PINK by the 4th PLINTH
Margaret Moran resigns or the bay tree gets it!
Sunday 2nd August 2009
Anna Carlson answers a tweet send out by Mark Thomas for interaction time on the 4th Plinth. Anna has been allocated one hour on the plinth from 7-8pm Sunday 2nd August 2009. Mark is forming a response to a policy selected by the audience at a Mark Thomas Manifesto show in Leicester. The policy is: "Any MP that has had excessive public money paid to them for 2nd homes allowances should have open days for the public. We paid for it we should be able to enjoy it!" Mark calls on my help to instigate the operation......A call out to people, a plan, an outfit for the day with knitted fuchsia pink balaclava knitted by Helen J to match my boiler suit (Mark's courtesy of an old woman in Viana do Castelo), the bay tree, bolt cutters, a large saucepan, ingredients for minestrone soup (courtesy of Tony & Dexter) & a building to entertain & serve up the soup should Margaret Moran not do the decent thing and resign

The Fourth Plinth
Antony Gormley's One & Other
One and Other Sculptor Antony Gormley is asking the people of the UK to occupy the empty Fourth Plinth in Trafalgar Square, a space normally reserved for statues of kings and generals, in an image of themselves, and a representation of the whole of humanity. This living monument is taking place from 6 July to 14 October 2009.
