Huffington Post: Is a Show in a Car Park Next to Frieze Art Fair Going to Become the Next Freeze?
Geoffrey Long has joined forces with two prolific international artists Vanya Balogh and Cedric Christie to support an exhibition featuring some 200 selected submissions. This brief satellite expo will take place inside a large multi storey car park in the heart of West End. Whilst seemingly unusual proposition in terms of location, this event is expected to equally challenge, entice and entertain all art lovers and visitors. Open to public for 3 consecutive days, it will feature diverse work in the medium of sculpture, film, photography, painting and site specific interventions, including performative and live presentations. With both emerging and established artists present throughout the event, it will capture a very unique moment in time, continuing the series of historic annual BIG DEAL exhibitions, initiated in 2008 by artists duo Croft & Balogh.
