The Ashton Reporter -Tracey Sanders-Wood- Mural Plans for Playground March 11th1999

A BORING playground wall will soon be transformed into a bright and colourful mural for children to enjoy. The wall at Trafalgar Nursery in Ashton will depict the four seasons of the year, thanks to two artists who will bring the children's ideas to life. The artists Jai Moodie and Tracey Sanders-Wood, will visit the school to chat with nursery children and their parents to collect inspiration. The project is supported by Ashton Renewal and Tameside Council's education department as part of an ongoing commitment to help local groups improve their environment.
