Tracey Moberly
Artist Tracey tells a really hair-raising tale
Thursday March 29 2007
Take your seats at a fashion show you've almost certainly never seen before tonight.
Outfits made from human hair by Bargoed artist Tracey Moberly feature in a BBC programme tackling the issue of image on Thursday, March 29.
Her fashion show in London earlier this year attracted attention after she chose to design pieces made out of the human hair of celebrities, woven with silk and modelled by 'real women'.
The results can be seen in tonight's show, part of the channel's Body Image series on BBC Three at 9pm.
Some of Tracey's work is also being exhibited at Cardiff's Tactile Bosch on Andrews Road, Llandaff North.
Hers is part of an exhibition, Arcadia, which open tomorrow night (Friday) for an invite-only viewing and runs from Saturday, March 31 until Sunday, April 22, or by appointment on 07951 256255.
