Saturday 13 September 11.30am and 2.00pm (dyeing)
Learn how to spin a woollen fleece on a drop spindle, a simple wooden tool crafted akin to a spinning top, with Tracey Sanders-Wood. Using mordants / fixatives such as alum and cream of tartar and any brown / red onion skins you have at home, you can produce and spin dyed woollen thread in a spectrum of colours. You will be required to attend both spinning and dyeing workshop when you book.
Suitable for adults only.
